Lowers the sharp C#2 and raises the low C#3.

Tip 3: G-A for piccolos with a split-E![]()
“This trill needs a kick to get it started. Begin the trill by fingering G3, then lift first finger left hand and trill as shown.”

Tip 4: G-A trill for piccolos without a split-E![]()
For piccolos without a split-E mechanism, kick off with the G3 fingering.
